peaceful location with great amenities

the bed in my superior king room was comfortable. the hotel grounds are beautifully kept and quite peaceful. i particularly enjoyed the heated pools and found the temperature ideal (especially after a long day). towels are available for hire at reception, really convenient.
the room décor felt a little dated overall.

the resort boasts outdoor pools with varying temperatures plus a fitness center and spa tub. there are several areas for relaxation scattered throughout the grounds. the swimming pool is accessible for free to hotel guests.

the staff at reception were very helpful and attentive to all my needs. they provided assistance with pool towels and were always available to answer questions. their friendly service really stood out.

I found the sports facilities excellent. The squash court, gym, sauna, and spa pool were all available. The staff were friendly and helpful (a genuine asset).
The breakfast was basic. The selections were not diverse (I've seen better spreads elsewhere).

the pools were a definite bonus the whole family enjoyed them. i liked that the grounds had plenty of outdoor space perfect for a relaxing stroll. the man running the bar was lovely and friendly and provided great service.
i noticed creaking floors while walking down the corridor it was also easy to hear others coming and going which was a bit disruptive.

the hotel is conveniently located near the waitakei thermal pool nature walks and bike trails this allows for easy access to local attractions and outdoor activities it's a very accessible area.
